I Can’t Withdraw My Funds from Gate.io Simple Earn and Lost 40% in Coin Value
I transferred my House coins into the Simple Earn section on Gate.io so they wouldn’t sit idle. But for the past 4 days, I’ve been unable to withdraw my principal funds. Every time I try, I’m told there’s “high traffic” and that I need to wait patiently—but there’s no progress or clear timeframe for resolution.
While Gate.io delays my access, the coin I invested in has lost over 40% of its value, and I’ve been powerless to take action. This delay has directly cost me a significant amount of money (₺), and it’s unacceptable for a platform that claims to offer flexible earning options.
If this is supposed to be a “Simple Earn” program, why is it so hard to simply get my money back?
Gate.io, this is causing serious financial harm. I demand immediate access to my funds and a clear explanation as to why withdrawals are being blocked. This level of inaccessibility, especially during a volatile market, is unacceptable. You need to protect your users—not trap them.
The same situation happened to me on November 21, 2025, on the Gate platform with the “TRUST” token. I couldn’t access my assets for about 8 hours, and when access was restored, the price had dropped by 80%. During this process, I suffered a serious six-figure loss. I didn’t leave this as an individual case; I escalated the matter to the level of the MFSA, ESMA, and the European Commission. At this point, it’s clear that this is not an isolated technical issue but a systemic problem affecting multiple users. Blocking access to assets (selective access) is a critical issue that directly impacts users. There is also a structural problem: while the platform presents itself as regulated with a single “Gate” interface and EU licenses, no entity takes responsibility when issues arise. Your case seems to follow the same pattern.
