LiveCareer Charged My Card Twice Without Authorization
I paid approximately $1 on the LiveCareer.co.uk website for a one-time resume creation service. I did not sign up for any membership or subscription; I simply paid for the resume service and left the website. Despite this, a total of $40 was charged to my card in two separate transactions without my knowledge or authorization.
The transactions appear in my Garanti BBVA credit card activity as purchases from Livecarer, for $20 and $20 respectively. I did not authorize either of these transactions, and I never requested or agreed to any membership, subscription, or recurring payment. I entered my card information only once to pay for the resume service, but these additional amounts were subsequently charged without my permission.
I request a full refund of the unauthorized $40 charged by Livecarer and the immediate cancellation of any memberships or subscriptions that may have been opened using my name. I want the issue caused by the unauthorized use of my card information to be resolved as soon as possible.
