Rusting Problem Caused By LG Dishwasher
I purchased an LG dishwasher, model 50026496-DFC425FP / Apzpltk, and unfortunately, it has caused all of my stainless steel items to rust. Despite following all usage instructions correctly, the machine is rusting high-quality stainless steel kitchenware. I contacted LG service, and a technician visited my home, inspected the affected items, and took photos. The rusted products include premium brands such as Fissler pressure cooker, Stanley items, and Pirge knives, all of which are made from high-grade stainless steel. The fact that such durable items have rusted clearly indicates a serious issue with the dishwasher. Later, I received a call from LG service, stating that the problem was considered a user error, meaning it is not covered under warranty. They offered to repair the machine, but at my expense. This is contradictory—if there is no fault with the machine, why does it require repair, and why should I bear the cost? Throughout this process, I have received neither support nor a satisfactory solution from LG service. This approach shows a lack of responsibility toward customer satisfaction. Therefore, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee to seek a fair resolution. It is with regret that I say choosing LG has turned out to be a disappointment. I expect this issue to be addressed promptly, and I kindly request a proper and reasonable response.
