My LG dishwasher, specifically the model LGDF8512FP, has been giving me a lot of trouble lately, even though it's only four years old. After trying multiple times to fix the problem, the appliance eventually gave in to its malfunctions.
Instead of tackling the root issue, LG tried to distract me with a gift basket and persuade me to participate in a software update and warranty extension program. It's pretty clear that there's a big problem with this specific model.
I think LG is refusing to recall the defective dishwashers because of the significant expenses involved in carrying out such a task. Instead, they're offering extended warranties and guiding customers towards repairs, even though the issue has continued despite multiple attempts to fix it.
I would like to request a complete refund for the dishwasher that is not working properly. Additionally, I would appreciate a replacement with a brand new dishwasher that is in good working condition. I don't want any more "repairs" or warranty extensions.
