LG Blames User Error for Defective TV, Demands Fee for Panel Replacement
We purchased the television with serial number LGNANO766QA, a 55" 139 Screen Nanocell TV, from Teknosa's Ankara Etlik Antares branch on 07.04.2024 for ₺21,599. Authorized friends installed the product on 08.04.2024. Without watching the television for even 5 hours, on 09.04.2024, in the middle of the television, an image distortion occurred as shown in the photograph. Teknosa company, without even checking the television, said through the images that the image distortion on the television was due to user error, that the panel needed to be replaced, and that this panel replacement would be subject to a fee of around ₺16,000. They stated that it was user error that such an image occurred without even 24 hours after the installation. We kindly request that our grievance be resolved.
