LG Service Damaged My 50LB670V TV and Refused to Take Responsibility

On October 26, 2024, we took our LG 50LB670V television to Berk Teknik, an authorized service center in Kocaeli İzmit, because it was not working, and we requested an explanation for the failure and the repair cost. After 10 to 12 days, they informed us that the repair would cost ₺12,000, and we decided to take the product back without proceeding with the repair. On November 9, 2024, we retrieved the television from the service center, but upon inspection, we noticed a crack on the panel on the left side of the screen. When we reported this to the service, they claimed it was not their fault and suggested the crack might have been pre-existing. This explanation is unacceptable, as the television was intact, though not functional when we delivered it. It is baffling how a non-functional product could sustain such damage during the service process, and it raises suspicions about negligence or misconduct. Additionally, I was asked to sign a form acknowledging receipt of the device, but I only noticed the damage after this step. When I contacted the service again, they denied responsibility. I urge LG authorities to address this issue promptly, as your authorized service centers appear to cause further damage to products and then refuse accountability. I demand that my grievance be resolved immediately.
