eFootball Password Reset Error Results in Lost Account and Data
I would like to report an issue I experienced in Konami’s eFootball mobile game that has caused me serious hardship. When I logged into the game, I began receiving constant network error messages. As a result, I deleted the game from my phone and reinstalled it. When I tried to log in again, I could not remember my password and used the “Forgot Password” option.
In the response sent to my email address, I was told “no game account exists.” I do not understand how an account that I actively used and on which I spent approximately $23 could suddenly be treated as if it does not exist.
I contacted Konami through their support channels regarding this issue, but the response I received stated that they could not assist with the problem. I am experiencing serious distress due to both the loss of access to my account and the possibility that the money I spent may be lost entirely.
For this reason, I request that my game account be restored, and that my existing account be returned to me with all in-game data fully intact.
