Iyzico Risk Unit Shuts Down Hugin POS Terminal and Blocks Customer Refunds

As Ahmet K*** Educational Institution, we operate a Hugin POS terminal processed through the Iyzico payment gateway. On August 27, 2026, our POS device was abruptly shut down and our account was blocked without any justification, locking approximately 100,000 TRY of our funds.

Despite submitting all requested documentation completely and on time, we have been repeatedly stalled. Although we were initially told our account passed security checks, it was re-blocked around 17:01, and both our account and POS were fully terminated. Iyzico customer support and their dedicated risk/security ("safe") unit have failed to offer a solution, providing only evasive responses. Furthermore, attempts to initiate customer refunds result in the error message "An error occurred. Refund cannot be performed," preventing us from issuing payouts or resolving customer issues. This unexplained block severely disrupts our school's operational cash flow. We demand the immediate reactivation of our POS terminal or the prompt release and payout of our ~100,000 TRY balance.
