IMVU banned my 16-year-old account based on completely fabricated reasons. Even though I have never sold any items, I received an email claiming that I had sold items in violation of the rules, and my account was blocked. When I followed up via email, I was then told that my account would not be reopened because I was allegedly part of a fraud chain.
In my 16 years on IMVU, I have never received a single penalty. Even though I have a Creator account, I have never uploaded or sold any products. In recent years, I only used the account to check messages. Despite the fact that no one else has ever accessed my account, there was no security breach, and I have not violated IMVU’s terms in any way, IMVU continues to insist on banning my account using completely imaginary justifications.
Everything I built over 16 years—my purchases, credits, friends, and progress—was wiped out instantly. Since IMVU is blocked in Turkey, I believe the company is intentionally deleting accounts using fabricated reasons. I am absolutely certain that I did not violate the IMVU user agreement, and I am currently researching the legal aspects of this situation. Even though it may be difficult as a Turkish citizen, I am considering taking legal action against IMVU in the United States if possible.
