I updated the ILIFE software (firmware), and the robot started working worse or refuses to follow commands. How can I roll back the update or fix the malfunction?

If your ILIFE robot started navigating poorly, freezing, or ignoring commands after a firmware update, the issue is usually caused by a software conflict or an incomplete installation.

What you can do:

Perform a full restart.
Turn the robot off using the power switch, remove it from the dock, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on.

Reconnect it to the app.
Delete the device from the ILIFE app and add it again. Re-synchronization often fixes command issues.

Check the app version.
Make sure you are using the latest official ILIFE app version.

Factory reset.
Most models support a reset (usually by holding specific buttons — see your manual). After reset, set up the robot again.

Reinstall the firmware.
If the system allows, try updating again.

Important: ILIFE typically does not provide a public option to roll back firmware. Downgrading is usually only possible through a service center.

If problems persist, report the issue on Xolvie.
