On June 3, 2024, I made a purchase through IKEA's website. Upon the first delivery, I found that the frame of the Pax wardrobe was broken and requested an exchange. While waiting, I inspected the Pax Bergsbo wardrobe door that came with the frame and did not notice any visible defects at first glance.
The replacement frame arrived on July 4, 2024, and I began the assembly process. I first assembled the frame and then started with the doors, following the instructions in your manual. The installation of the first door went smoothly. However, when I mounted the hinges of the second door on the floor and lifted it to attach to the wardrobe, the top hinge did not align with the holes in the frame, while the other three hinges fit perfectly. Upon measuring, I discovered a misalignment of approximately 3 mm in the screw holes of the top hinge.
How could this defect have been identified without attempting assembly? Legally, it has been less than 15 days since the second delivery. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, and I am facing an inconvenience because of it. I request a resolution to this issue.
