IKEA's Horrible Delivery Experience Due to Inept Courier Service

I ordered from IKEA online, and the delivery date was set for June 22nd. They promised to contact me one hour before the delivery, but no specific time was given. Naturally, I took the day off, requesting "unpaid leave" specifically for this purpose. The courier, C**, called me from right outside my door, claimed he couldn't reach me, and then left without attempting to deliver. When I mentioned that he should have notified me prior to his arrival, he began talking nonsense, saying things like, "Dude, I came, you weren't there, so I left." I'm not required to notify you an hour in advance." He even had the audacity to tell me to stand by the door for him and open it when he called again. I took the day off, and while I was in the shower, he called and said he couldn't reach me; however, when I called back within 5 minutes, he said he wouldn't return my call. Because of his attitude, I recorded our conversations and intend to sue both him and the company. Everyone should do their job correctly and understand their limitations. I intend to sue IKEA, the courier, and the courier intermediary. Today's ordeal, squandering my vacation time for a failed delivery, will not go unpunished. I intend to file a lawsuit to recover my lost wages and other damages.
