IKEA is Making You Suffer. Company Using Compressed Chipboard




Completed from an online store in August 2023, I purchased Boaxel cabinet products. Among the products I purchased, most of the shelves turned out to be problematic. Transportation caused another issue, and assembly created a separate problem. Even though I applied multiple times, the installation team only came again on April 17, 2024. I realized there was a problem when the two shelves placed towards the top of the wall, installed by the team, were taken down. I filed a complaint. However, the report provided by the IKEA expert blamed usage. It's as if I sat down and carved the shelves one by one. I will take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee. You damaged all three of my walls during installation and refused to take responsibility. You claim the shelves are damaged due to usage, despite offering years of warranty. Even if it's due to usage, the price of one shelf is 700 ₺. They're hollowing out because you didn't make them solid and used compressed chipboard. I'm writing this and attaching photos so everyone can see. The shelf you replaced before was in the same condition. If you can't understand the images, come and inspect it in person.
