In August 2025, we purchased a Knoxhult kitchen from the IKEA Bayrampaşa store. From the very beginning — including delivery, installation, and parts supply — we experienced serious issues at every stage. One of the items arrived damaged, delaying our installation by three weeks. Later, we discovered that several parts were missing, and we had to personally visit the Ümraniye store to pick them up. Despite buying a complete kitchen set, we learned that IKEA does not deliver missing components.
In addition, we were told that one of the drawers we purchased was missing, so we made another trip to the Ümraniye store to collect it. However, IKEA sent the wrong parts again, and we had to pay extra to purchase an additional drawer. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. When the plumber arrived today to install the sink, he found that the necessary hose under the sink was missing from the box. It turns out this part was never included, and IKEA never informed us about it. When we went back to the store to explain the situation, we were only told that they would get back to us within 48 hours.
When a customer purchases a complete kitchen, they shouldn’t be required to chase down missing parts themselves — IKEA should handle this responsibility directly. There has been no compensation for the repeated inconvenience of visiting the store six times. I must say, this entire experience has been extremely disappointing — IKEA has truly been a regret.
I request that all missing parts be supplied free of charge as soon as possible.
