I bought a Bekvam step stool from Ikea about a year ago. The stool was mostly used as a decoration and only rarely for what it was made for. But one day, when I was using the stool as a step ladder, one of the legs broke off and flipped over, causing me to fall and hurt both of my legs. I was surprised by how easily the stool broke and how fragile it seemed, especially since it was advertised as a step stool. I'm saddened by the poor quality of this product and by the fact that it hurt me. The stool should have been more sturdy and strong enough to hold a person's weight.
