HTX P2P USDT Escrow Dispute Stalling and Malicious Seller Reporting
My name is Mohammed A*** and I am writing regarding an unresolved dispute on HTX P2P for more than 12 days, related to a USDT purchase that is still unfairly blocked in Escrow.
Through HTX P2P I created an order to buy 120.026427 USDT for 81,750.00 XOF via bank transfer. I paid this amount from my own bank account using BANKI, and the payment was successfully completed under the bank reference FT61416Q2ZEL. As proof, I uploaded an official bank-stamped transfer receipt confirming that the funds were debited from my account and sent to the seller.
Despite this, the seller refused to release the 120.026427 USDT, claiming that he did not receive the funds. The dispute started around 10 August 2026 and has now been pending for about 12 days without resolution. During this entire period, the seller has not provided a genuine official bank statement proving non-receipt, even though such a document was explicitly requested in the dispute chat by the moderator.
Instead of submitting a proper bank document, the seller repeatedly uploaded manually edited files and external AI-generated “reports” that attempt to cast doubt on HTX’s own automatic watermark, and he also tried to justify the delay by saying that his bank network (Orange CI / Orange Money) was down. In the chat, the seller has clearly admitted that he is unable to provide any official bank statement from his bank confirming non-receipt of the transfer, while my money remains locked in Escrow through no fault of mine.
I consider the seller’s conduct to be malicious and in bad faith, as he is stalling the process, refusing to cooperate with the clear instructions from HTX P2P and providing questionable documents instead of a simple official statement from his bank. As a good‑faith buyer, I have fully complied with all requirements and submitted official bank proof, but I am still deprived of both my fiat funds and the 120.026427 USDT for an unreasonably long time.
In light of the above, I respectfully request HTX P2P to immediately resolve this case in my favor and release the 120.026427 USDT to my account without any further delay. I also ask you to set a strict and non‑extendable 12–24 hour deadline for the seller to provide a real, official bank statement from his bank if he wishes to maintain his claim; otherwise, the dispute should be closed in my favor based on the valid proof I have already provided.
Additionally, I expect HTX P2P to take strong disciplinary action against this seller for intentional stalling, bad‑faith behavior and submitting manipulated or AI‑generated materials instead of genuine banking documents. Given that this dispute has already been pending for 12 days, I kindly request priority handling of my case so that this situation is finally resolved and I can regain access to my funds.
