CoinPayments Refund Stuck and Extra BNB Gas Fee Required

On 27 July 2026 I tried to pay 299 SDT to “Jeet Shah Crypto” through CoinPayments. Because the amount that reached CoinPayments was not exactly the same as the amount requested by the merchant, the payment did not go through and the funds were held by CoinPayments. When I tried to get my money back through the CoinPayments “Claim Refund” page, the system showed an error message and asked me to send BNB.BSC as an extra gas fee in order to process the refund. I already paid network fees when I sent the funds to the merchant, and I do not accept being asked to pay additional gas fees just to recover my own money. I could not reach any real-time or effective support on CoinPayments and I did not receive any help from the merchant side either; the merchant simply does not care about the situation, while my funds remain stuck in the middle. I request that my 299 SDT be fully refunded to my wallet without demanding any extra gas fee, and that this issue be resolved promptly so that my money is no longer blocked in the CoinPayments system.
