HP Omen 17 - White Spot Appearance On Screen
My HP Omen 17-cm2005nt laptop, which I bought on 05/24/2013, unfortunately developed a white spot on the screen exactly one year later. Although it may not be easily seen on colored pages, it becomes quite noticeable when the screen is black, which can be quite irritating. Based on my findings, while the computer may not show this problem when first turned on, it can gradually develop over time. I've noticed that many people have expressed frustration with this issue. I'm worried about the spot growing larger, as it's really unsettling.

Yes, I was called, and as a standard response, they said, "It has been damaged, user error, not covered by warranty." If you look, there are others experiencing the same problem; solutions have been offered to some, but no solution was offered to me. Anyway, let this issue be written here so that those considering purchasing an HP Omen in the future can see what they might encounter during their research. Even if the product works perfectly when you buy it, white spots may appear on your screen over time, I won't even mention the light leakage; black screens are a dream, When it first arrived, it stayed in service for a month because the left speaker was broken.
