Microsoft Outlook Security Breach Led to Fraudulent Purchases on My Account

16

On October 14, 2025, around 4:00 p.m., I realized that my Outlook account (o*******@outlook.com)** had been hacked and accessed without my permission.

I was able to regain access by performing a password reset; however, during the breach, unauthorized transactions were made using my account — including orders from Zara (approximately $570) and Supplementler (around $205) — both placed with someone else’s credit card. These transactions were not made by me.

I have already reported the situation to the relevant companies and banks, but I do not accept responsibility for this data breach, which occurred due to a security vulnerability in Outlook’s system.

I request a thorough investigation into how my account was compromised, the implementation of additional security measures, and a detailed explanation of the incident.

Please note that I will be filing a criminal complaint in Istanbul tomorrow regarding this unauthorized access.

I hold Outlook (Microsoft) responsible for the unauthorized use of my personal data and request that an urgent investigation be launched.
