Honda CR-V 1.5 Turbo AWD Oil: Free Repair Request
1

I own a 2019 Honda CR-V 1.5 Turbo AWD. My vehicle has always been serviced at authorized Honda services and has 138,000 km on it. There was no problem with the vehicle, and as a modern car whose engine and transmission are equipped with software and systems to protect themselves, I did not expect a sudden and serious fault. About a week ago, the engine suddenly started to leak oil from the rear crank seal. In just 500 km, the vehicle consumed around 500 ml of oil. Because of this leak, I stopped using the car completely for safety and to prevent further damage. I consider this type of fault, especially at this mileage and on a regularly maintained car, to be a problem that does not suit a brand like Honda. In Turkey, unfortunately, authorized services generally do not produce solutions in favor of users, so I have not yet contacted any service or Honda Turkey, because I believe they will not be interested in this issue. However, this situation places a very heavy financial and emotional burden on users who already pay very high amounts to own these vehicles. I request that Honda recognize this chronic-looking rear crank seal oil leak as a manufacturing/problematic design issue and initiate a free recall or goodwill/guarantee-like solution to repair it without charging the users. I expect Honda to take responsibility for this serious fault that the average user cannot afford to bear and to ensure that my vehicle is repaired free of charge.
