Honda Civic BRC LPG Lean Fuel Error Remains Unresolved
I have been experiencing a persistent check engine light issue on my 2020 Honda Civic Eco Elegance for more than a year. The check engine light remains illuminated, and whenever the vehicle is connected to a diagnostic scanner, it reports a lean fuel mixture fault. When I switch the vehicle to gasoline, the check engine light turns off. However, as soon as I drive using the BRC LPG system, the warning light comes back on.
I have taken the vehicle to numerous repair shops in Eskişehir, including an authorized Honda service center, but the problem has never been resolved. I have repeatedly been told that BRC LPG systems cannot be properly calibrated because BRC has not provided the necessary diagnostic and calibration software to authorized service centers. Although the source of the problem appears to be known, no one is able to perform the required adjustments or repairs due to the lack of software access.
I request that BRC provide its authorized service centers with the necessary software and technical support so that the persistent check engine light and lean fuel mixture problem on my vehicle can finally be diagnosed and repaired. I also request a clear explanation from BRC regarding how this issue will be resolved.
In addition, I would appreciate hearing from other Honda Civic owners or BRC LPG users who have experienced the same lean fuel warning and successfully resolved it. I would be grateful if they could share the steps they took or any effective solutions that fixed the problem.
