Hipp 3 Combiotic Formula Caused Vomiting and Diarrhea in My Child

On August 23, 2026, at approximately 5:06 PM, I purchased two boxes of Hipp 3 Combiotic follow-on formula from the E-bebek store located at Kumsmall Mall in Kocasinan, Kayseri. The products had an expiration date in 2028.

On August 28, 2026, I prepared seven scoops of this formula for my child. Before my child had even finished half of the bottle, they suddenly vomited forcefully while the formula was still in their mouth. Approximately 30 minutes later, my child also developed diarrhea.

The following day, when I tried to give my child the same formula again, they vomited again immediately after taking the first sip as soon as the bottle was placed in their mouth. When I examined the formula, I noticed that it had a lumpy texture. I also noticed a distinctly unusual smell when I checked the product.

I then went to the E-bebek store where I had purchased the formula. The employee told me that they could accept the unopened box as a return, but that they could not accept the opened box due to their procedure. The employee also stated that they had recently received similar complaints regarding Hipp products. As a result, I was only able to return the unopened box, while my spouse, understandably upset by the situation, threw the other box away because we were convinced that it was defective.

I am extremely disappointed and concerned both because of what my child experienced and because one box of formula had to be thrown away. I never expected to encounter such a problem with a brand as well-known and trusted as Hipp.

I request a refund for the amount I paid for the formula I purchased, as well as a clear and satisfactory explanation regarding this product. I also strongly request that Hipp review its manufacturing and quality-control processes to help prevent similar incidents and potential risks to other children in the future.
