Hailuo AI Trial Subscription Took an Unexpected $52 From My Card
On 05/14/2026, I purchased a trial membership through the Hailuo AI application. While the screen displayed a price of approximately $1, an immediate charge of approximately $52 was withdrawn from the card connected to my Apple account instead. There is a huge difference between the amount I expected to pay and the amount actually charged, and I find this situation clearly misleading and unfair.
I have the payment receipt available, and the transaction appears as completed through the card linked to my Apple account. After noticing the issue, I created a refund request through the application’s help center. However, so far I have not received any response, update, or even a basic informational message regarding my request.
Because such a large amount was withdrawn without my clear knowledge or proper understanding, I demand that the full approximately $52 be refunded to me and that this subscription be canceled immediately.
