Grok.com Triggers Hidden $39 Subscription Charge After Free Trial Ends

I entered my credit card information on Grok.com to sign up for a 7-day free trial. At the end of the trial period, a payment of $39 was requested from my card without obtaining any consent from me or clearly stating that I would be transitioned to a paid subscription. This transaction was attempted on July 18, 2026.

I feel misled because it was not clearly and explicitly communicated that I would be automatically converted to a paid membership and charged this amount at the end of the trial. Furthermore, I believe my explicit authorization should have been required before charging such a significant amount to my card.

I demand the immediate cancellation of my subscription, a full refund for any charges made to my card, and the disabling of any automatic renewal or charge features on my account.
