Grok xAI Refuses to Cancel Inactive Subscription and Ignores Support Emails
For about three months, I have been trying to cancel my Grok (xAI) subscription, but to no avail. My subscription, which started on April 18, continues to be routinely billed to my credit card even though no active subscription appears in my account. Most recently, on July 15, another $30 charge was processed on my credit card, appearing on my statement as "Grok xAI."
During this time, I sent two separate emails to customer support. In my first email, I requested the cancellation of my subscription. When I received no response, I submitted a second written request, demanding both the immediate termination of the subscription and a full refund of all unfairly collected subscription fees. Although nearly a month has passed, I have received no response whatsoever, no information has been shared, and no technical solution has been provided.
As an attorney, I find it completely unacceptable that a subscription is not terminated despite explicit written cancellation requests from the consumer, that support requests are left completely ignored, and that credit card charges continue even when the service is not being utilized. I believe this practice violates both consumer rights and the principle of good faith.
I demand the immediate cancellation of my subscription, a complete refund of all unfairly collected subscription fees, and a detailed written explanation regarding the harm caused. Otherwise, I hereby declare that I will exercise all my legal rights in Turkey, including applying to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, and on international platforms if necessary. Seeing that other users are experiencing similar issues, I expect a swift resolution to this problem.
