Gotogate Refuses Refund After AJet Changes Flight Time and Breaks Connection

I purchased a flight ticket for June 24 from Cairo to Istanbul through Gotogate, which redirected me from Skyscanner, for $547 with AJet. My original departure time was 4:20 AM, but AJet changed it to 3:10 AM. Due to this change, my connecting flight in Istanbul is completely disrupted, and I can no longer make the connection.

As soon as I noticed the schedule change, I first contacted AJet. They told me that since I purchased the ticket through an app, they could not process any changes and that the issue must be handled by Gotogate. When I then contacted Gotogate, they stated that if I canceled the ticket, I would not receive any refund, citing AJet’s policies.

I believe that the company that changed the flight time without my approval, in a way that disrupts my travel plans and connecting flight, should be responsible for issuing a refund. In a similar situation I experienced before with Pegasus, I received a full refund without any issues. I request that AJet and Gotogate take responsibility in the same way and refund the full $547 ticket amount without any deductions.
