Gmail put an important email in spam, how can I stop this from happening with future emails?

Open the email and click "Not spam" if Gmail puts an important message in the spam folder by mistake. This will move the message to your inbox and teach Gmail how to handle future emails from that source correctly.

Gmail thinks the sender is more trustworthy if you add them to your Google Contacts.

To be sure, set up a filter: Find the sender's email address, like "from:[email protected]."

Then, make a filter that checks "Never send it to Spam" and applies to talks that already match. This will make sure that any emails from that address go straight to your inbox.

If you want to unsubscribe from newsletters or marketing emails often, Gmail's new "Manage Subscriptions" tool (which is rolling out in some areas) lets you see who sends you emails regularly and stop with just one click.

It helps clear out your inbox and keeps spam from getting mixed up in the future.
