Global Blue Tax Free Refund Missing After Istanbul Airport Process

During the Tax Free refund process I completed through Global Blue at Istanbul New Airport on October 15, 2025, I was supposed to receive a refund of ₺30,510 under my application with reference number 110590.23567.5281.18659, but only ₺25,924 was deposited into my account. When I contacted customer service about the issue, I was told that the transaction was processed in USD, a 5–9% transaction fee was applied, and the payment was made in TL at a 20% lower exchange rate. However, no prior information was provided regarding these deductions or the exchange rate difference, and I find the exchange rate practice unfair given the amount withheld. I request that the missing amount be refunded to me and that arbitrary exchange rate or deduction practices be stopped to prevent further grievances.
