If a Global Blue agent took fees without clear explanation at the airport, first know that Global Blue is allowed to deduct service, handling, currency conversion and cash refund fees from your VAT refund per their terms, and these should be shown on the Tax Free Form or receipt you signed.
To challenge unclear or unfair charges, gather your original Tax Free Form, receipts, and any airport refund receipts and contact Global Blue Customer Service through their official support portal or Help Centre with a detailed complaint.
Ask for a breakdown of the deducted fees, the applied exchange rate and justification, and if the agent misrepresented fees at the desk, request escalation or review.
