My child loves Gerber banana baby food, and it's a product I buy regularly. However, the package I opened yesterday seems to have gone bad. When I took it out of the fridge and opened it, a horrible smell filled the kitchen. I immediately sniffed the baby food and confirmed that the odor was coming from it. As I stirred it with a spoon, I noticed a green, mold-like clump inside. It was MOLD!!! This is outrageous! The expiration date is still 5 months away, and I always keep it refrigerated. This type of baby and children's food needs to be produced and stored with much greater care. Gerber, you just lost another customer!
