I Can’t Cancel My Freelancer Account Unless I Pay

I signed up for Freelancer.com, hoping to find solid work opportunities, but I was extremely disappointed by the system’s overall layout, functionality, and hidden conditions. After realizing it wasn’t the platform for me, I decided to cancel my account—but to my surprise, they won’t let you close your account unless you pay a ₺10 fee.

This is nothing short of a deceptive business model. Nowhere during sign-up did they mention that canceling would cost me money. It’s absurd that a platform forces users to pay just to leave. This is not only unethical but also a breach of trust.

I am demanding that Freelancer cancels my account immediately and removes the cancellation fee. No one should have to pay to stop using a service they no longer want.
