On my first experience with Flixbus Portugal, I made a booking expecting to pay in € as clearly displayed during the booking process. I completed the reservation and received a confirmation email, only to find out that I was charged in £ instead of €. For example, a €10 price was charged as £10, meaning I was misled by the price display.
Upon realizing this discrepancy, I immediately canceled the booking. However, despite the cancellation being almost instantaneous, Flixbus did not refund the full amount. Instead, they deducted a cancellation fee, even though the misleading currency issue was their fault.
This situation has caused financial loss and disappointment. I was preparing for a trip and carefully planning my budget, only to be charged incorrectly and refunded incompletely due to an error in the booking interface.
I explicitly request a full refund of the amount charged in £ without any deductions, and I demand an apology for this misleading pricing. Please resolve this matter within 14 days.
