I regularly buy tickets through the FlixBus app, but it constantly gives me errors and refuses to accept my card information. What’s even more frustrating is that the ticket prices for the same seat keep changing for no reason. For example, I can select the same seat for €14.07, but when I try again, the price becomes €14.57 or €15.53. When I try purchasing from another phone, I encounter the same issues. Even when I switch to a different card, the exact same problem persists. Sometimes, when I use the same card on another phone, the payment goes through, but other times it doesn’t — so clearly, there’s nothing wrong with my card.
Out of curiosity, I even tried entering incorrect card details once, and the same error screen appeared. That means the system isn’t even properly checking the card information — it just keeps failing at the purchase step. I constantly struggle to buy tickets. In some cases, when I try to book a seat that I know is available, it says it’s already taken. Also, even though there’s an option to select both departure and return dates, the app only books the departure ticket and not the return one.
I don’t understand how so many issues still exist in this app without being fixed. I managed to buy my outbound ticket without problems, but I can’t buy the return one. I’ve been trying to book a return ticket for over 8–9 hours, but it’s been impossible.
