FlixBus Driver Overcharged Me €40 for a €17 Ticket

The FlixBus driver demanded €33 instead of the €17 ticket price. I agreed to this amount, but then he took €40 from me and didn't give me back the change. I submitted a complaint on the FlixBus website, but I'm still waiting for a response. I eagerly anticipate receiving an official response. Why am I being charged €40 for a bus ticket that should only cost €17?
