Fiverr Scam Alert - Fake Design Order Demands Bank Verification Fee
I recently created a translation and flyer design gig on Fiverr. Yesterday, I received a €22 order for a design, but to access the order details, I was asked to provide my bank account information. I shared it, and they claimed I needed to have ₺15,000 in my account for a “bank verification process.” I told them I didn’t have any money, so they suggested creating an account on Papara.com, saying no cash was needed. I did that, but later they demanded a ₺22,000 balance in the Papara account for me to receive my €22 (₺1,000) payment. I spent hours messaging someone who claimed to be a tech support representative, wasting my entire day and ending up furious. Later that evening, I searched online about Fiverr’s verification system and realized I had been scammed. It was humiliating, and I became even more upset. I immediately called my bank and canceled my credit card. Today, I reported the two fake clients to Fiverr and blocked them. Fiverr must take serious precautions to keep the platform safe and protect sellers and buyers from scams and fraud because, clearly, it isn’t secure as it stands.

Right now, a person called "Tech Support" is asking me for $200 for verification. I don’t believe it.
