In January 2024, I purchased the "Fisher-Price Fun & Learn Potty" from Toysall.com. We didn’t start using it until 10 days ago, only introducing it to our child by explaining, "When you’re a little older, you’ll use this for the potty." About 10 days ago, our child was ready to leave diapers behind and began potty training. At first, the product worked great—the music that played after using the potty was a huge motivator. But after just 10 uses, the music stopped playing. Thinking it was a battery issue, we replaced them, but it still doesn’t work. Now, without the music, our child doesn’t want to use the potty and is asking to go back to diapers. Any parent who’s gone through potty training knows how stressful this process can be, and this setback has been extremely frustrating for us.
I contacted Toysall about the issue, and they said that after 1 month of purchase, all product-related issues must be directed to Mattel. They provided a phone number (5395140) and told me to submit my complaint. On May 29, 2024, I sent a WhatsApp message with all the details, including photos and videos, but I have yet to receive a response. I also called the number and tried emailing m********@mattel.com, but the email is inactive. Toysall has been trying to assist, but they also haven’t heard back from Mattel, who promised a response by Monday.
It’s incredibly frustrating to buy a product from such a well-known company and not receive any support when an issue arises. I hope someone in authority reads this and takes the time to acknowledge and address my concerns.
