I received the Fisher-Price 4-in-1 Lights & Sounds Learn & Play Activity and Drawing Table, model JLM96, as a birthday gift for my daughter and took delivery of the product on June 26. About one week after my daughter started using it, I noticed that the red paint on the number 1 button was constantly transferring onto her hands. The paint then spread from her hands onto the table surface and everywhere else she touched. Similarly, the red paint from the Fisher-Price logo on the table also comes off onto her hands in the same way.

I also noticed that the paint on the toy brush and other parts of the product transfers onto hands in a similar manner. The possibility that paint that comes off so easily onto a small child’s hands and spreads everywhere could contain harmful chemicals is extremely concerning to me. I tried cleaning the affected areas, but the fact that this issue occurred with a children’s product—and especially with a trusted brand like Fisher-Price, which has been known for years—has been very disappointing.

I request that this product undergo a thorough inspection, including an evaluation of the safety and reliability of the paint used and the overall safety of the product. I also request that an appropriate solution be provided to resolve my complaint, whether through a replacement, refund, or another suitable remedy.
