Connection failures in Findmykids usually happen because of unstable internet, outdated app versions, or broken pairing between devices.
If either phone loses connectivity or permissions, the link between parent and child can drop.
To restore connection, first check that both devices have active internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data) and that location and background permissions are fully enabled.
Then restart both devices and reopen the app to refresh the connection.
If the issue continues, update the app on both devices and try re-linking them using the invitation code.
Reinstalling the app on the child’s device often resolves deeper sync or pairing problems.
