FamPay QR Scam Payment - Refund Request

I am writing to report a scam payment that I made through the FamPay platform using the QR scan feature and to request a full refund of the amount paid. On 13 February 2026 at around 04:31 PM, I scanned a QR code and made a payment which turned out to be part of a scam. The recipient name shown was “Vijay Singh T***” and the transaction was processed with the ID/UPI reference: 8295417360@mbk. I trusted the QR code and completed the payment, but later realized that I had been scammed. I contacted FamPay customer support regarding this issue and explained that the payment was a scam, but I was told that I still had to pay for it, which I find unacceptable as I am the victim of fraud in this situation. I request that FamPay urgently investigate this transaction, block or flag the recipient account if possible, and provide a full refund of the amount paid for this scam QR payment to my FamPay account or original payment source. I also request a clear written explanation of the steps taken regarding this incident.
