I have been a Facebook user for many years. I created this particular account in 2025 using my real name and identity, and I used it without any issues through the website until March 11, 2026.
Recently, I reopened several comic book pages in Google Chrome that I had opened a long time ago and had not checked in quite a while. These included pages related to comic book websites where I am a member. Shortly after that, Facebook displayed a warning saying that it believed I might not be a real person or that my account might be controlled by something non-human.
Following this warning, Facebook asked me to turn on my camera and submit a facial verification video. I completed the requested face video verification. Despite this, my account was still closed. The only message I received was a generic notice stating: “We disabled your account. After reviewing it, we determined that it still does not follow our Community Standards regarding account integrity. This decision cannot be reviewed again.” No specific explanation or concrete reason was provided beyond this standard message.
I cannot understand why an account that I created with my real identity—and for which I even submitted a facial verification video—was disabled, nor can I learn the exact reason or policy basis for this decision. In addition, I have not been provided with any clear way to appeal this action.
I request that my account be reviewed again and restored. At the very least, I ask that Facebook provide a clear and accessible appeal channel so that I can challenge this decision. Being permanently locked out of my account without explanation—even after verifying my identity and submitting a face verification video—has caused me serious inconvenience and has significantly damaged my trust in the platform.
