FaceApp Billing Complaint Over Trial Auto-Renewal

On February 5, 2026, a 7-day free trial was started through the FaceApp application via the App Store. However, I did not give clear consent to transition into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period. When I checked my account today, I saw that an active subscription had been started, and I immediately canceled it as soon as I noticed.
At the time I canceled, there was no charge reflected on my bill. Despite this, about half an hour ago I saw a charge of approximately $31 on my bill under the transaction reference number mnmssqnqs2. I have not even used the application once. I am a student, and this amount is very high for me—I am currently experiencing financial difficulty because of it.
I am requesting confirmation that this subscription, which began without my explicit approval and was canceled immediately upon discovery, has been fully terminated. I also demand that the approximately $31 charge reflected on my bill under reference number mnmssqnqs2 be refunded to me as soon as possible.
