I Got Charged for FaceApp 7-Day Free Trial After I Canceled on Day One
Hello. On February 26, 2025, I downloaded the FaceApp application and activated the 7-day free trial. I only used it for a few hours on the first day, then immediately canceled the subscription the very same day. Despite this, I was charged ₺1000 for a 12-month premium subscription.
I contacted customer service and was told to reach out here. This was clearly advertised as a free trial, and I followed all the necessary steps to cancel in time. Still, the charge was processed without my consent. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of.
This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this and it’s deeply disappointing. I demand an immediate refund for this unauthorized charge. If your system registers early cancellations yet still bills users, that’s deceptive and unacceptable.
I’m requesting urgent resolution of this issue. I did not intend to subscribe long-term and canceled responsibly. FaceApp should not profit from misleading practices. Please refund my ₺1000 without further delay.
