Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation Did Not Cover Acne Marks
I recently purchased the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup foundation in shade 3NW from Estée Lauder. The product arrived on June 9. This foundation is sold with the promise of high coverage, but it did not even cover my acne mark. On top of that, it left an unpleasant sticky feeling on my face. I paid $77 for this product, and I am very dissatisfied because its performance did not match what was promised.
Today, on June 12, I contacted customer service and requested a return. However, I was told that the product could not be returned because I had opened the cap. It is impossible to understand how a foundation looks on the face, how much coverage it provides, or what its texture feels like without opening it. I was truly disappointed when I was told that returns are only accepted if the wrong shade code was sent. In other words, even if the product does not meet expectations, it is not accepted for return.
I purchased this product under order number 7062305490, with e-document number 61A4DB62-4D45-43FC-8105-4831EC5A2451. Since I am not satisfied with the product and will not use it, paying $77 for it is very upsetting.
For this reason, I request that Estée Lauder accept the return of this foundation and refund the amount I paid.
