Epic Games and Xsolla Approved My Refund but the Money Never Arrived
On January 11–12, 2026, I attempted to purchase the game Red Dead Redemption 2 through Epic Games using the Xsolla payment system with my Akbank debit card. During this process, I was charged $52 twice, for a total of $104. Afterward, I submitted refund requests for these transactions through both Epic Games and Xsolla support.
In my correspondence with the Xsolla support team, I was informed that the refund had been processed and my request was resolved. I even received an email stating that ticket #9336060 had been resolved. However, despite these notifications, more than 10 business days have passed and no refund has appeared on my Akbank card. I have also not received any clear or satisfactory explanation about the current status of the refund.
I request that the $104 total amount I paid be fully refunded to my Akbank debit card as soon as possible. I also ask both Epic Games and Xsolla to provide a clear, detailed, and written explanation regarding the status of the refund process.
