Enuygun Retains $146 Pegasus Ticket Fare Despite Cancellation Weeks in Advance
On August 22, I purchased a round-trip ticket under PNR code 2caswy for my mother via Enuygun.com with Pegasus Airlines for an İzmir–Elazığ outbound flight on September 13 and an Elazığ–İzmir return flight on September 19, paying a total of $146. The following day, on August 23, I noticed an error in the flight directions and canceled the ticket through Enuygun.com.
Even though I canceled the flight approximately three weeks in advance, I was refunded only a minimal amount—first $7 and then $3. Enuygun.com states that Pegasus’s rules apply and that no fee refund can be issued due to the ticket's fare class. However, Pegasus's own official rules clearly state that for cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the flight, refunds are provided across all fare classes.
During my call with Pegasus customer service, I was informed that the refund rule for cancellations made more than 72 hours prior applies to all ticket classes, and that I needed to contact Enuygun.com—the booking agency—to process the refund. Despite this, Enuygun.com is withholding nearly the entire ticket fare even though I canceled within the permitted legal window.
I do not accept Enuygun.com citing ticket class as an excuse to ignore Pegasus's rule regarding refunds for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance. For my ticket under PNR code 2caswy, which was canceled more than three weeks prior to departure, I demand a near-full refund of the $146 I paid, either without deductions or with only a reasonable administrative fee applied.
