On September 20, 2025, an eDreams Prime membership was created without my knowledge, and an attempt was made to charge 99.99 EUR to my card. Since my card is disabled for online purchases, the charge was unsuccessful. This transaction was linked to my reservation number 23886420147. I tried to reach the company by email, but I could not find a valid address, and the messages I sent were returned. I do not want to contact them by phone because I struggle with foreign languages and international call fees are high.
I only signed up on the site to make a single booking, and I was not even aware that I was consenting to a Prime membership. The fact that any fee would be charged was not clearly stated; instead, the fee disclosure was hidden at the very end of the confirmation email in a way that was barely visible. For users who do not understand English, this process is highly misleading and lacks transparency.
I demand that no fee be collected, that my Prime membership be canceled, and that I receive a written apology for this deceptive attempt at charging me. I carried out my transactions from Istanbul, Turkey, and I expect my grievance to be fully resolved, as this membership and payment attempt were carried out without my consent or knowledge.
