eDreams Immediate Refund Request – Unauthorized Renewal
I am writing to object to the charge of EUR 99.99 for the automatic renewal of my eDreams Prime subscription, which was debited from my card on 04.01.2026 under the booking reference 20090883274. I was not clearly or adequately informed in advance about the upcoming renewal, nor did I give my explicit consent to extend this subscription. I have no interest in continuing with eDreams Prime and did not intentionally renew or approve this payment, so I consider this charge unauthorized and unjustified. I contacted eDreams customer service by e-mail regarding this issue, but have not received any response so far. I therefore request the immediate cancellation of my eDreams Prime membership and a full refund of the charged amount of EUR 99.99, returned to the same card or account from which the payment was originally debited, and not as an alternative method or credit. I am exercising my consumer rights under applicable EU consumer protection rules, including the requirements of transparency and informed consent for subscription renewals. As the renewal was neither clearly communicated nor expressly accepted by me, I expect this matter to be resolved promptly and amicably. I also request written confirmation that the subscription has been cancelled and that the refund to my original payment method is being processed. If this issue is not resolved without undue delay, I will have to consider further steps, including initiating a card chargeback and filing a formal complaint with the relevant consumer protection authorities, which I would prefer to avoid.
