eDreams Failed To Inform Airline About Paid Cabin Bags And Underpaid Refund
I booked 8 flight tickets through eDreams and paid in advance for a cabin trolley bag for each passenger. A day before the flight, I discovered that eDreams had failed to inform the airline about the trolley payment, forcing me to pay again at the airport. An eDreams representative promised a full refund, but I only received a partial refund, with no receipt or explanation of how the amount was calculated. Only after contacting my credit card company did eDreams send an additional refund, which still fell short by about $90 of what I originally paid. Their handling was evasive, slow, and completely lacking transparency. I intend to share this experience publicly so that others won’t go through the same frustration.
