eDreams Charges €119.99 Without Consent for Prime Membership
About one week after purchasing a flight ticket through eDreams, I noticed that on March 28 at 08:47, an unauthorized charge of €119.99 was made from my N26 bank account without my consent or approval. Although this charge is described as a “Prime membership” fee, I did not start any eDreams Prime membership, did not give consent for such a subscription, and was not informed about it.
When I contacted my bank, N26, I was told that the transaction was processed as an eDreams Prime membership fee and that it was charged directly by eDreams. However, when I tried to contact eDreams, I was unable to reach any representative, and therefore I have not been able to directly communicate my objection or report my grievance to the company.
I request that the €119.99 charged without my authorization be refunded to my account as soon as possible. I also request that any Prime membership that appears to have been initiated without my consent be completely canceled, and that customers be clearly and transparently informed about such charges in the future.
