eBay Purchase Stuck in Customs – No Warning About Extra Fees, Requesting Refund

I purchased a $40 pouf from eBay (Order number 07-12074-35409), and at no point during the buying process was I informed about the country of origin or the potential for customs fees. I regularly shop from other sites like Temu, where they always notify me of such possibilities. However, eBay provided no warnings, and I made the purchase without considering any issues. Now, the product is stuck in customs, and I am facing extremely high fees—far exceeding the cost of the item itself. I believe eBay should have informed me about this. I requested a refund, but eBay has offered no assistance. I expect eBay to take responsibility for this lack of communication and issue a refund for my purchase.
